Spirits Child is just south of Oro Valley and Marana, where owner Aitreyia offers an oasis from the bustle of suburban life. Her calm and charming store offers products designed to align and strengthen the spirit.
Their large collection of angel and fairy products, as well as an entire section devoted to Native American ritual and Buddhist practices, makes them one of the more diverse stores in Tucson.
Spirits Child regularly hosts workshops in Reiki, Tarot, and A Course in Miracles, taught by the owner herself. The store’s employee, Amy, has years of knowledge in the metaphysical industry, and will happily show you her favorite products.
Booking a session with Aitreyia, who communicates with spirits and angels, is well worth the trip up north.
5. Metaphysics World
SERVICES OFFERED: Tarot, I-Ching
BEST FOR: Deity figurines (Asian and African, varied), Deity imagery/tapestries (Hindu and Buddhist). Crystal spheres. Selenite wands. Incense. Feng Shui coins.
For those of us who grew up in Tucson, Metaphysics World was the only metaphysical store in the city, and a safe haven for spiritual insight. Many of us received our first readings, bought our first stones, or opened our first occult book in their huge, wandering space on Broadway Blvd.
Though Metaphysics World now has competition, they remain the best choice for figurines and images of Hindu, Buddhist, or Voodoo deities and figures.
Metaphysics World also carries a number of different sizes and stone types of spheres, including the classic quartz crystal.
The massive store also carries an entire wall of Asian incense, and houses a small library where shoppers or community members can rest and read.
They host a weekly Psychic Fair every Saturday, where 15 minutes is $15 for either of their readers. Book an I-Ching reading with Aiko, or a Tarot reading with Raven.
Tucson is a magical city. With all the services and products its metaphysical stores offer, you’re sure to find the exact message your soul is looking for. If you’re lucky enough to live here (or just stopping by) you can’t miss out on these stores. Let your intuition guide you to your new favorite Tucson store!
